I grabbed this photograph with no real thought behind it. The water was like glass and it was fairly sunny. But really, nothing out of the ordinary.
This is the Alligator the camera provided. It’s really different and interesting, especially for an Alligator.
All I can think of is this particular gator was very dark in color, and clean.
This is the shading a Little Blue Heron gets in some clear light.
Too bad it’s just a head shot !
This is such a cool photo, the color on the water, his head looking blue. Very unique.
I thought so too. An adult like that is a dull brown/gray… yet here it is. I purposely did not touch any options in an editor because then it would have been completely fake looking LOL.
I mentioned the light doing that to the Little Blue Herons also. I found a few down the ponds from the Alligator. Not processed yet but I’m betting the dark slate blue ‘pop’. Same still water, same light.
That will be fun to see, the under lying blue is in so many things and comes out in certain light.
