Standing at the north end of Dividend pond in the Rocky Hill, Cromwell Connecticut area. Not a mark on the length as far as I could see.
The snow was about 2 feet deep and I had to break a path. The hill down was easy, slip – slide – bounce. Leaving was more interesting and perhaps a better plan should have been made.
Someone had been here before me for a drink at the ponds ending stream. I’m guessing a rabbit.
The ice had made interesting shapes as it went down hill towards the falls. This was a close as I was getting. Too cold for any mistakes.
More snow is coming so unless I have someone to pull me up hill this may be the last trip to the pond until spring.
