What started out as a short walk through the west facade of the Connecticut Capital building turned into an adventure within all the main chambers of the state government.
At first it was an empty Sunday morning in the capital.
Getting to photograph a large open and complex building with hardly no people around is amazing.
The last image above is from one of the doors around the State Representative chambers. I was literally shooting stained glass through stained glass.
Finally a woman who worked there appeared from a side office and asked if I would like to go into the various chambers.
From there we were allowed entry to photograph the State House and Senate. We did bump into a tour afterwards, but our photo shot was pretty much on our own.
Part 2 of this article will include the various chambers and offices.
