When I am in a flower garden, especially a large one, I take hundreds of photos. Sometimes 3 or 4 of the exact same composition at different exposures just to be sure I have it right.
However, I also have a hard time deleting perfectly good photographs. Even if I have several the same.
Today was the day to clear out some of these old files. I got side tracked as usual. I found myself changing an image’s look to go from a bright and vibrant flower at its peak, to be subdued and past its prime.
Typically I try not to change any photographs to be something that was not what I saw in the first place. Just a preference and besides I’m not that creative.
Now I also have an excuse not to delete all the files.
