I have no problem recognizing the beauty of a flower. It’s the details that completely escape me. I posted a photo of this flower on Facebook and many people jumped right in with ‘Climatis’ so I’m going with it.

One of the shade buildings at the Elizabeth Park Rose Garden has these flowers growing up and over the structure. A #4 ND filter was added to soften the sky on these shots.
We only had a few hours over the weekend for any photo opp’s which made the gardens a perfect choice. It turned out there was the Connecticut Dahlia Society show that day.
Dahlia photos have not been developed yet, but they should be pretty.
