When you find a Great White Egret in shade, dark water, or just about any place out of direct sunlight there’s a good chance the photographs will be good.

These shots, or the birds, would have been washed out even a few minutes earlier. The trees had just begun to shade the pond. Once out of sun light the reflections were clear in each shot.



The day before we found Great Egrets out in a clear blue cove, then here, a shady pond. I wonder if this means I’m done for the season.
