Kendrick Peak, in the Arizona Kendrick Mountain Wilderness, is over 10,000 feet, It is the highest mountain in the San Francisco volcanic fields.
The area that I photographed is wide open prairie lands with spruce and pine forests closer to the mountain base.

The views here are like nothing I have ever seen. Wide open spaces, mountain back drops, no people. They do graze cattle here, but none when I was there.

This was an unplanned stop, but it turned out to be one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
Flagstaff Arizona is near by so if in the area be sure to go here.
beautifully reminds me
of days living
on the Hopi Rez š
Thank you. It’s a wonderful spot.
