I had no intention of leaving my warm house this morning. However, a certain photography partner had other ideas. I’m fairly sure at least one of my eyes was still closed as we hit the woods.

It was long past dawn but the river was completely fogged in. I took my shots, but only 1 or 2 were OK.
The walk along side the fields did have interesting frosted reeds and other plants. These are included here.

My spots for the small birds produced not a single photo. I found one bird, a pheasant who was flying fast as he could. Hunters have arrived so he was leaving town.

Based on today I may an an excuse for sleeping in. Time for some late fall sunsets instead.

Thanks John. As it gets colder I’m sure my early morning trips will be few and far between. Perhaps I can find something that looks best at noon!
