Bald Eagles In The Snow - Click To Enlarge

From A Photo Challenge

Recently I participated in a 7 day nature photo challenge.  When selecting images to be submitted these two came to light.

This Bald Eagle photograph was published March 2015. Taken near a small opening on the frozen Connecticut River, the  pair were finishing the remains of a white tail deer.

The second photograph had never been published before. While I do like it, obviously since it’s here, another taken in the same burst  was selected. This Great Blue Heron was working a shallow salt marsh near Sanibel Island, Florida April 2015.

Going through the archives for this challenge unearthed some great photographs I never did use. It’s a great way to find long forgotten images that should not be hidden away.

  1. Two male bald eagles, beautiful, I don’t know about most people but I don’t see that everyday. They are so majestic, just amazing shots.
Great work to share my friend. Thank you. Love J
