Circular Congregational Church

The congregation here was founded 1680 – 1685. The parish house is on the national historic register. The church itself is the second version,  the first was burned to the bricks in 1861, the civil war stopped the restoration until around 1888.

    1. The church, parish house, and cemetery are filled with an amazing amount of history. I had thought New England had all the 1700’s (and earlier) locations. That’s just not so.
