This small bird was photographed in the rain at The Center For Birds Of Prey. Click here for more information.

There are two species recognized as species now, the Northern and the Southern white-faced owls. Northern and Southern refers to Africa, where the clever, orange-eyed, white-faced night birds live.

You can see it was raining but owls and photographers didn’t seem to mind.
Love those eyes, what a beautiful capture! Keep it coming, love owls! 🙂
