This is a popular location with Hartford area photographers. I have not used Color Efex Pro developing much so thought I would try it with a shot that had potential for textures and contrast.

Standing on the east bank of the Connecticut river you can look straight across, and under the bridge, to the Hartford side.
I resisted realigning the shot, every tool has this image straight. To my eye it looks a little off, and annoying even. But the levels and grids say no. Any thoughts?
Wonderful shot. In color efx pro try the detail extractor filter.
Thanks. I will try the filter in the next day or so. Appreciate that. I tend to use Silver Efex Pro since we have a B&W site and it suits the interior design / gallery type photos. It’s rare I open PS though. Thanks again. BTW, I enjoy your site, visit it often.
If you have a Mac try tonality pro for B&W. Goes above and beyond.
