These waxwings were about as close as I have ever been. The berries were more important than me. That was fine since I had more time for different types of shots.
Photographs taken in South Carolina, end of February (2016). In New England waxwings seem to just make a guest appearance. The coloring is so smooth and even it almost looks fake.
The tree, branches, and berries worked out perfect to provide a nice amount of bokeh for the photographs.
