It’s not easy dealing with the public. This lady knows the secret. A big smile and a T-shirt that gives you fair warning.

Part of learning my way around a new town was to grab my old walk around camera, a 24 mm prime lens, and visit a local market.

Another bit of public relations here was to provide seating for weary shoppers. I didn’t see any takers but it’s the thought that counts.

The gentleman above used free samples. Based on the lines he had it worked a lot better than folding chairs.

This farm didn’t employ any marketing tricks. They just opened early in a spot everyone had to pass.

Overall a farmers market in the south is a lot like northern ones.
However, one big difference. The variety of local fruit, vegetables, and fresh poultry and meats was incredible.
Oh yeah, the southern charm too.
