Wading Roseate Spoonbill

Rather than crop in close on this Spoonbill I pulled back for effect. Which can back fire on me and often does. Zoom in, the bird and reflection turned out fine.

I always get my first shots of any wildlife I see before doing anything. I remember that advice years ago and it has paid off more than once. The first shot may be the only shot.

    1. Thanks. The first shot always has the potential to be pretty bad. But given no shot I always go for it.
