I could not get an in flight shot as this heron came in. The reeds and cane were too thick. Only one good image before he turned into the thickets.
His legs were completely under water, this is about as deep as they can go.

Lovely heron shot, nice and sharp.
He flew in through thick reeds and branches and this was the only clear shot. Thank you.
