Juvenile Ibis Fly By

I had forgotten what a great combination the Canon 7D2 and Canon 100-400 lens are. This is not a complaint on the big Sigma lens, I still use it daily. I’m not sure the Sigma could have grabbed this.

This was shot at 300 mm , 1/1000, f 7.1 and I just cut the top to make it a landscape image. A quick turn and shoot since I heard the bird coming from behind.

    1. Yeah, I was surprised too. The Canon 100-400 is really crisp. I found it awkward compared to my usual gear. But cropping an image real crisp at 400 can be as good as a 500-600 cropped.
