Roseate Spoonbills in Flight

Catching a spoonbill in flight from the right position can make for nice landscape type photographs. An in flight shot for me usually means a pretty close capture where the birds feathers or expression make a statement. A big pink bird against a natural back drop can catch your eye also.

The one shot that has alluded me is a mass, large flock, of spoonbills passing by. Well, an in focus shot alludes me.

  1. It’s been a long time since I’ve thought about spoonbills. I used to see them when I’d go stay with my grandparents as a kid so these pics brought back fond memories. Thanks for sharing! 🙂
