The Blue Wing Teal is very common in the marshes here (South Carolina). Yet the number of photographs I have, decent ones, is minimal. The water is brown, the ducks are brown, the glare is even brown.

These 2 birds were off in a smaller pool rather than with flocks in open water. The glare was softer since there was tree cover, and besides being a small pool I moved closer. Better yet, they let me.

I don’t think the teals will be in this area much longer. In another month this should be a Heron rookery. That means lots of activity, and the alligators that take advantage of it.
These are wonderful shots and the water has fine orange accents.
The reeds and trees gave the color, and prevented a harsh glare. Thanks
