This is a series of images that I thought were meant for black and white. I may be stuck in a rut but I have old scenes I shot a ‘little’ while back that are what I view as traditional B&W photography. The images here are very close to the same look.
Above is basic 8×10. The composition is centered on the main subject, pieces are ‘chopped’ on the edges. Unless you had unlimited darkroom resources you did the best you could. Now in digital color I would try to never have this. Here it’s an old normal look.
Above a standard landscape, under exposed. My preference more than anything else.
This was processed with an Agfa 35mm film filter in Silver Efex.
