Marsh Birds

Each of these images were taken during trips to a marsh recently but I have not found time to finish everything captured.

Rather than have them get lost on this site waiting for me to catch up I have added them here. It’s probably being lazy but being so far behind…here they are.

The Egret above was in a spot that allowed the messy marsh background to be just far enough away to blur (Bokeh). Getting birds in these marshes is not a big issue, dealing with the vegetation is.

Catching a little Snowy in a fly by is timing and luck. The luck part is the wing position in the photo. Half the time the bird is behind the wing or in an awkward position.

Last is the Cormorant. There are so many they get ignored. Yet they are very graceful flying low on the water, and literally spring up and run over the top when they take off. Great when you catch the surprising lift off.
