These images, except where cropped for standard frame sizes, are out of the camera with no processing. That is amazing !

My experience with peacocks is that they rarely open tail fans close by, and like to walk away from me. Not this one, he danced a few feet from us while we were down low photographing.

This bird had a reason for opening the fan, to scare away the barn yard pigeons from spilled grain. It didn’t work, pigeons are pretty tough.
Thanks. These were taken at an old southern US plantation stable. Barns just have pigeons. Why I don’t know but any USA barn will have pigeons. As for a peacock, the old south plantations were rich in their day. Peacocks were considered a sign of wealth. They also had more, and larger, English gardens than the UK. At one time the largest garden in the works was on a plantation. This was before the Palace of Versailles. I shot that garden and it was the size of a small country!
Beautiful photos.
Thank you. Colors were great.
Beautiful!
Thank you 😀
Amazing creatures. Beautiful pictures.
Thank you. The bright colors make photographing them so much easier, and fun.
Ted, did you find them in a zoo ? I see them with pigeons in one of the pics. Beautiful photographs.
