Dark, and best viewed on a large screen, but I had to add this on-line. The photograph is a good representation of being there.

Each small piece, that makes up the experience is here.
Here I caught the golden hour color, white egret on the small island, Spanish Moss on a cypress, and the main subject an alligator floating by. All that is missing is the sound of the night coming alive. If you have a mental picture, just add a chill to the air.
Can you tell I like this shot.
beautiful, I love the wording and picture, thanks for the share…I can feel the depth of the golden hour
Thank you. It’s very hard to photograph a place like that a get the feeling of what it actually is like. I don’t get many keepers
creepy!!!
Creepy? It’s beautiful.
Ted, have you been attacked by an alligator any time ?
Attacked, no. They are afraid of humans. Even the extra large (like a car) ones. Basically each ignores the other when you come into close proximity. Of course if you walked up and poked one….they are a wild predator.
Very nice 🙂
Thank you and thanks for visiting.
You’re very welcome 🙂
Lovely, Ted. You capture the atmosphere in your image and your words.
Thanks. I forgot all about that article 😀.
