Great Egrets put on displays during the mating season. The first I have noticed is an acrobatic fly by of what I assume to be the females. Incredibly graceful and agile it is proving difficult to catch many of the antics.
I have always loved catching them flying low, a wing tip skimming over the water. I will need 50-100 shots to catch just the one above. I don’t want to think about how much film that would be.
