This one just moved by at a steady pace yesterday. Some days the larger ones stay far from the banks leaving the little ones the sunny spots. Other times they are close enough to see those yellow slit eyes.
This was taken at a spot where they like to lay on the trail side in the sun. I think they come by to be sure the place is open and safe. Which makes me wonder how good their eye sight actually is.
My lens was pulled back to it’s minimum length, 150 mm, for this image.
