At this time of year there are no shortages of in flight photo opportunities. Which is pretty amazing, but that’s another story.
No matter how many photographs taken, in flight shots always produce the fewest ‘keepers’. And I take thousands. When one stands out a little from the others it’s usually because of the small things.

The egret flying from a light area into shade, and the bokeh behind, caught my eye on this one.
The egret stands out beautifully against the muted background.
Thank you very much. That’s what caught my attention. And of course the sun didn’t blow out the white bird. That’s really common here.
