These images are a group of junveniles that were being raised on the same trees. No way to tell if the same nest, so this is close enough.

Little Blue Herons seem to venture out earlier than other birds in this rookery. The branches all intertwine so it’s easy to move around.

Come feeding time the adults must be able to tell who belongs to them. Otherwise they would be mobbed by 20 big chicks.

The photograph above displays 5 different birds, but a typical nest only produces 3. There’s a little mix and match going on here.
