The good news here is she only has two youngsters. Most have at least three. It’s brutal at dinner time.

All young birds are demanding, but Egrets are aggressive from birth.

Eventually they get fed but it’s loud and rough.

This is probably why Egret chicks are out on their own so quickly. An adult Egret will only put up with this for so long.

    1. Agreed! I go to South Carolina about once a year on vacation and just love sitting on the dock in the marsh trying to get shots of egrets. I know it isn’t easy! šŸ™‚
