Fifi is a WW ll Army Airforce B 29 Bomber. Fully restored and flight worthy.

I have photographed, and been on the runway, during a B 17 flight and Miss Fifi is huge in comparison. This is a large plane, maybe the largest of the era.
In the 1970’s she was restored and made flight worthy after being rescued from being an air force target plane.

This image is standing at the co-pilots seat.

Multiple pilots fly this plane, a ‘cheat sheet’ is attached to the power stick listing stall speeds to be aware of. The plane has 4 large engines that were added in 2006.
The plane is owned by the Commemorative Air Force, a non-profit organization and passengers were offered flights in exchange for donations. A full 2 days of trips were sold out immediately.
