High temperatures, high humidity, a famous fountain open for all. One of my favorite Charleston, SC, spots.

On this day adults waded right in with the children.

A spur of the moment impulse had me crank up my shutter speed to 1/6400, my little used custom landscape color mode, and (almost) joined the fun.

I was not spontaneous enough to charge in with all my equipment. I did go in close, and water was flying my way.
The high speed froze all movement enough to see through the many streams. This fountain has water shooting from all directions.

The image above is the entire fountain for perspective.
This was fun, not sure I will do it again, but fun.
Cool shots Ted!
Thanks. Funny, with all the work I do I don’t think I have ever cranked my speed up to 1/6400 before.
