My first thought was to make each photograph here a separate article. The images are different enough to stand on their own. I did finally decide against this since there is never a shortage of white birds around here. I probably have dozens still be be finished.
Above a young Little Blue was moving around the dark moss exploring.
This Great Egret landed on a tree, and balanced on a short stubby nub. There are plenty of trees, and branches, but he picked a nub.
Here a Little Blue walked above the water on an overhang. Strolled back and forth watching as if a fish would fly on up to him.
Last, another Little Blue. This bird was off, alone, in a more shaded area. The sun hitting the water makes this look like end of day. I’m pretty sure it wasn’t. Just the difference between a darkened swamp and open area.
