I’m not a Wood Stork expert but this bird was with a small group and looked smaller, feathers less defined, and did follow another one around closely for a while. Juvenile is my guess.


Based on the number of birds we have seen this year Wood Storks are back in significant numbers.

Thanks. We found a small flock near the harbor, surprising but they do seem to be spreading out.
