I have had these photographs for a few weeks now and did not know wither I should keep them or not. None of the birds were doing anything particularly dramatic. The background was just a muddy low tide.

When revisiting them it occurred to me that first, these were fairly close Wood Storks. Second, not that long ago they were endangered and I never saw them.

Last, how many people ever actually get to see an animal like this in the first place.

It’s amazing to get a chance to photograph these birds. So of course I’m publishing them, what was I thinking.

I really enjoyed seeing these particular shots thanks Ted!
Thanks. Many people never get to see animals like these. I never did until I came to the lowcountry to shoot. It’s a privilege to photograph scenes like this.
Its lovely to hear about the enjoyment you get from the experience. Thanks for sharing!
