This was one of the few spots you could see inside these reeds. And lucky for us, a small flock of Wood Storks and Spoonbills were right there.

The reeds were over 10 – 12 feet high blocking any view of all the other birds, and there were many, on the other side.


There are canals and areas of open water behind here. No trails or even dry land, except where I stood, is accessible. But I did capture these and a few others so it was a win.
