This was a good spot to photograph an Ibis. usually they will be in a flock and along the ground.

Like many wading birds the young have a complete change in color as they become adults.

Of course Ibis do this, like everything else, the opposite way. They are dark and drab and become white when adults.

In general White Ibis are just strange little birds.
