Spoonbill Setting Down

Three photographs of a Roseate Spoonbill concentrating on a landing. Usually we capture images like this as they land in water. These also show just how wide their wingspan is.

Of course it was a pin point landing.

    1. Thanks so much. I have another, similar series from the same spot. We shoot high speed for things like this so I literally have hundreds to work through.

    2. I’ve just recommended this post to Pete Hillman in the comments under Ellen’s photo on my blog. I just love these photos! Ah, Pete has been already!

    1. I admit to liking them too šŸ˜€. There was a tremendous amount of activity the other day. Being out there often has helped us know when to pick certain spots and how to control dancing around like a fool and get down to work šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚. I do love to photograph them
