So… Watch out, I said they are crossing by the brown dirt. A minute later… ‘On your right’.

We were walking on a dike trail where I had been earlier. I had company then and obviously here too.

Spoonbills were close on the left here so the buddy system was used. One person photographs, the other keeps watch.
So close!!!!
The trail is really the top of a dike, separating 2 large lake / marsh areas. There are many dikes here. The Alligators climb over them going between rice fields / marsh. There are clear trails where the cross. However, the reeds are tall so neither of us see each other coming and going. And it’s a wild place so hundreds of Alligators use the trails. Some Alligators hide and just stick their head out to look around, other big ones barge right over. Great photo ops. We met a few yesterday.
