Black Simmers are flocking along the shore getting ready for their migration even further south.

This photograph is a small segment of the flock as it rose to move down the shore.

I’m still reviewing the images from this shoot, however there were hundreds of birds so none will fit into a single photograph
Beautiful, what a sight!
It was beautiful, they never did fish, but the time of day was wrong. Went back again, just a few were there. While it was not easy getting to the site, an empty day on a large tidal beach is still magnificent.
