Dancing The Twist, Heron

This juvenile Little Blue almost turned himself inside out trying fluff up his feathers.

This is a young bird that appears to have never left the rookery area. Granted they all look alike, but there is a first year Little Blue always in the same general area.

    1. Might be, sticking close may have been smart though. Less competition for small fish. Of course less food choices for the Alligators, so he better be careful ๐Ÿ˜€. By next fall he will be full grown, change color to a slate blue, and have a mate. ๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€๐Ÿ˜€.
