Just a great spot to photograph a big heron.
Not being too close he made no move to leave. When that happens we have plenty of time to change camera settings and focal lengths.
Comparing the two images here you can see a slightly different background in the one directly above. A small change in position gave me a new perspective…and he was fine with it since I didn’t really get any closer.
The background and lighting in the first photo is beautiful!
Thanks 😀. A spot I check often to see who is lurking about. Bald Eagles sit just above that in the AM, unfortunately no shots lately .
