Ever since Hurricane Irma the grasses and reeds have moved around, small islands are floating, even whole canals have been covered.

When looking at a marsh from a distance it’s hard to realize just how much is living on top of the water, floating, and not anchored at all.

Of course it helps the wading birds with new places to hunt.
