It was foggy and dull this morning but just as I was leaving the swamp I caught this series.
Last years nests are pretty much gone from the past storms. The males have started to fly off and gather sticks for the new platforms.
Right now they are getting what is on the ground around the banks. They will fly over, spend a ridiculous amount of time finding the perfect stick, then fly over the swamp back to a nesting tree.
