One of the first Great Blue Herons to hit the rookery. This is on the same tree we documented the ‘Tale Of Two Herons’ last spring.

  Thanks. They are gathering in the rookeries and starting to build nests. A little early. Once the breeding season begins it gets really busy. Herons, next Great Egrets, Photographers heaven 😀
