The dull winter sun can be great for capturing reflections on the water. And of course an Alligator can make a ‘big’ reflection. The other day I made a point of photographing some that were around.

Before anyone asks, that ‘thing’ under this ones jaw…it’s a leach. Yep, one more reason not to fall in here.

There are different size platforms around here, some large enough for several Alligators. There are times they are piled all over each other.

Some places only one will climb up. And it’s not always because the platform is smaller. The occupant is bigger. Little gators need to avoid bigger ones.

Not everyone appreciates Alligators, I get it, but photographs like the above with reflections are still nice.
