They have a huge wing span, so when in a hurry I need a lot more distance than this to keep up.

If I can get a sense of where most of the birds are going I can position myself to be where they glide in for a landing.

After shooting them this long I have a basic understanding of their flight habits. I say ‘basic’ because just when you think you know…the rules change.
