A bird that is usually easy to see in the brush. This male was in an Azalea bush. Azalea grow everywhere here and during the winter something is always around them.
It was cold so I took these quick shots and just moved on leaving him to eat in peace.
Gorgeous. It would make a beautiful card.
Red bird in the perfect spot. I don’t shoot them often and I think the last time was in about the same spot 🙂 Thanks.
Amazing and most magical photographs of this beautiful bird, Ted!
Wow Pete, thanks so much.
I have a hard time with these small birds too. My usual gear is just too heavy to hold up for as long as the small bird images require.
Beautiful colour they have
Bright red and the light background, dark bush accented it.
Beautifully framed and gorgeous colour!
Thanks so much ! As you know, I’m hit or miss with these little guys.
Ted, you should sell this as a Christmas card. The photo is perfect.
Thanks so much…and where have you been !! As you can see, I’ve been busy 🙂
