I was not planning on taking any shots of this Egret. Spotty sun, and he was just standing there, very close, but nothing interesting.

Something caught his eye so I started to shoot.

A fast snatch, and viola ! A snack.

This water is very shallow yet the number of ‘critters’ living under the surface is startling.
