Over the last few days the number of these Hawks has increased in the swamps. This particular bird wanted this perch, which gave me time to capture him from a few angles.

Most of the time he looked around hunting. But he continued to glance back to be sure I didn’t get any closer.

Red-shoulders have been around in the area for a few weeks, they must be nesting nearby.
