It’s been a while since I have shared the trail, at least 2 months. A bright sun for warmth and they are back.

The ‘Trail Gators’ are the juveniles, teenagers so to speak. Between 2 to 4 feet (60cm – 121cm). This one was getting close to adulthood.
The light, and colorful tones are giving way to a dull brown. Also the neck is filling out.

In the image above you can see how concerned he was about me being there. Warm sun got the better of him and he closed his eyes, starting to doze.
