Rather than create a standard 16×9 landscape format this was finished in the 1×1 square ratio. It is limiting for landscape, unless you use Instagram (which we do not) and then it’s the only good fit.

It is interesting that sometimes when you put a limit on something, like the ratio in this case, that you are forced to rethink your shooting and editing. I think that is a helpful exercise.
Change is critical for me. Surprising but even shooting exciting wildlife, when done daily, can become routine. I try to change my subject matter and direction to keep myself interested and fresh. š
